CertExams.com Releases Juniper JWEB Simulator for JUNOS Network Simulator

CertExams.com updated it's Juniper NetSim with Designer for Juniper JNCIA. The GUI, named JWEB, enable a network admin to use the graphical tool to configure network components such as routers and
switches without the need to know the CLI commands.

Important features of the netsim software are:
1. The software is completely stand alone, and there is no need for any other software.

Juniper network simulator includes designer module that enables you to develop your own labs and simulate several network scenarios. The netsim is updated from time to time to support more command. However, please note that its is software simulator of the Juniper routers or switches, and has limited command set. Its primary use is to learn working with Juniper devices such as routers and switches and intended for beginners. Advanced users are recommended to buy Juniper kits or subscribe to Juniper labs that are available online.

Juniper JNCIA Certification - Objectives and Practice Tests

Juniper JNCIA (short for Juniper Networks Certified Internetworking Associate) certification is offered by Juniper Systems on successfully completing single JNCIA exam.  JNCIA exam objectives are give below:

  1. Networking Fundamentals - IP addressing, subnetting, IPv6 and others.
  2. Junos OS Fundamentals - Includes Junos OS architecture, routing engine, control/data plance, etc.
  3. Junos Configuration Basics - Basic config, user login and authentication, logging and tracking.
  4. Operational Monitoring and Maintenance - Tasks include s/w upgrades, using ping, trace route, and other commands, using relevant show commands for monitoring, etc.
  5. Routing Fundamentals - Include forwarding tables, routing tables, configuring static routes, configuring basic dynamic routing protocols, monitoring routing.
  6. Routing Policy and Firewall Filters - routing policies, firewalls and match criteria, and Unicast reverse-path-forwarding (RPF),
  7. User Interfaces - CLI functionality, modes, and navigation. Active and candidate configurations,. Editing, saving, and retrieving configuration files; viewing and loading config files. J-web core functionality. 
 The exam code is JN0-102. JNCIA is the basic certification that you need to pass for taking any other exams offered by Juniper. The syllabus is relatively small when compared with CCNA, and easier to pass.
